New York S.H.E. Salon & Academy

We love spotlighting our customers! Today’s post is a spotlight on a really cool and inspirational Fairport, New York salon and training facility called S.H.E. Salon & Academy

“Leaders do not create followers. Leaders create more leaders.”

-Kaitlyn Franscico, founder of S.H.E Salon & Academy

The growing salon, currently eight lash artists strong, was started by the lash trainer, Kaitlyn Francisco in 2017. Kaitlyn has been a licensed esthetician and lash artist since 2009. In addition to her busy schedule running the salon and training, she still makes time to see clients for mega volume appointments.

She is a 6x Certified Lash Extensionist. Kaitlyn has trained with Novalash, Xtreme Lash, Borboletta, Lavish Lashes, Lash God, and Lashbox LA. Kaitlyn lives by the motto “Leaders do not create followers. Leaders create more leaders.” What is really unique for our industry is that she loves to collaborate with other salons and lash technicians.

Kaitlyn believes that “collaboration is the new competition. After all, we’re all stronger when we stand together! We believe this is what makes our academy exceptional and sets our training apart from the rest.”

Kaitlyn’s #1 tip for a lash tech starting out is patience and perseverance is EVERYTHING! No matter how hard or time consuming it may seem in the beginning just keep going, don’t give up and most importantly ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!

S.H.E. Salon Lash Bar & Lash Academy’s lash courses are accredited through NALA, The National Association of Lash Artists. Accreditation is not just granted to any training course. NALA’ s process of accreditation was developed using five years of global research. Attending a course that is NALA accredited can give you the confidence that this program is the best it can possibly be for students. Accreditation is the tool used to monitor, assess and evaluate the quality of education a student receives at a lash training facility. Accredited programs are held to a higher standard. As a NALA certified educator, Kaitlyn has studied all 7 learning styles that differ from person to person. Their courses are taught involving various learning styles so that there is something that benefits every individual! Their education extends beyond the classroom, and they offer additional support after the course.

Collaboration is the new competition.”
