Can you answer this question with confidence? If not, let's walk through how to find your lash business's competitive advantage below. Pull out a piece of paper and work through each question.
Question #1: What are all your business's attractive OBJECTIVE offerings?
Give a full list of things your lash salon offers that would be attractive to a lash client. Exhaust this list with everything you can think of and be OBJECTIVE (not influenced by your own opinions or feelings).
For example:
"My lash business offers a membership program that can make it easier and more affordable to maintain their lash look."
"We offer 24-7 online booking."
"We are open 7-days a week."
Example of what it is NOT:
"Clients love me!"
Question #2: What QUANTIFIABLE claim can your business make?
Give a full list of quantifiable claims your lash salon offers that would be attractive to a lash client. Exhaust this list with everything you can think of. Again, be OBJECTIVE!
For example:
"Our lash studio has been open since 2009."
"We completed 1,000 new lash sets last year."
"We retain 95% of our clients."
Example of what it is NOT:
"Our clients have been coming to us for years."
Question #3: Make a list of all the things your competitor does well.
